Meet the Appraisers
Alan Gottfried, SRA has been performing appraisals for more than 40 years. He is the owner of Gottfried Appraisals. Alan graduated from Villanova University with a bachelor’s degree in 1975. He earned a master’s degree from Saint Joseph’s College in 1977. Alan became a licensed Real Estate Broker in Pennsylvania in 1976. He is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Real Estate Appraiser. Alan has provided appraisals for the Orphans Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, the Claim Settlement Division of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and numerous lending institutions and attorneys. He has been an instructor for Main Line Night School. Alan is an approved FHA appraiser. Societies and Professional Organizations:
Robert Barr has been an appraiser with Gottfried Appraisers for 29 years. He graduated from Saint Joseph’s College with a bachelor degree in 1976. He became licensed to sell real estate in Pennsylvania in 1977 and began appraising in 1986. He is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Real Estate Appraiser. Robert is an approved FHA appraiser.
